This page sets forth how THX-PC handles user information in connection with the health record app “396Health” (hereinafter referred to as the “App”).
The App is also subject to the separately established General Privacy Policy.
If the contents of this page differ from those of the General Privacy Policy, the contents of this page shall take precedence with respect to matters concerning the App.
1. Information Handled by the App
The App may handle the following information that users enter, configure, save, or export:
- Blood pressure, pulse, body weight, body temperature, step count, and other numerical records
- Records of medication, supplements, alcohol consumption, symptoms, notes, and similar information
- Items and contents voluntarily added, configured, or entered by the user
- Information such as record dates and times, dates, and time periods
- App settings such as input items, display items, notification times, themes, font size, and blood pressure reference settings
- Data exported as CSV, PDF, backup files, or similar formats
- Name, email address, inquiry details, device information, OS information, app version, details of defects, screenshots, and similar information sent by the user when making an inquiry
Such information may include highly personal and sensitive information related to health conditions, medication, symptoms, lifestyle habits, notes, and other contents voluntarily entered by the user.
2. Storage Location of Health Records
In principle, health records entered by users in the App are stored on the user’s device.
Health records are stored in a local database on the device.
App settings and certain usage-related information may be stored in local storage on the device.
The App does not automatically send health records entered by users to our servers.
However, if the user uses CSV, PDF, backup, sharing functions, email, cloud storage, external apps, or similar functions, record data may be sent or stored outside the device as a result of the user’s own operation.
3. Information We Collect
The App does not automatically collect health records entered by users.
The information we may collect mainly includes the following:

- Information provided by the App Store or Google Play concerning purchase status, billing status, refund status, and subscription management, to the extent that such information can be confirmed by us under each store’s specifications
- Access information, cookies, and similar information collected when users browse our website
If a user sends health records, screenshots, CSV files, PDF files, or similar data to us for support purposes, we may review such information to the extent necessary for support, defect investigation, and inquiry handling.

- To respond to violations of the Terms of Use, unauthorized use, and security issues
- To comply with laws and regulations
- For purposes incidental to the above purposes
5. Local Notifications
The App may display local notifications to remind users to record their health information at times set by the user.
In principle, notification settings are managed on the user’s device.
The display of notifications uses the OS notification permissions, device settings, and app settings.
Use of local notifications does not cause the contents of health records to be automatically sent to our servers.
However, whether notifications are displayed, the display time, the display method, and similar matters may be affected by the device, OS, notification permissions, power-saving settings, focus mode, app status, and other factors.
6. CSV, PDF, Backup, and Sharing Functions
The App allows users to export records they have entered in formats such as CSV, PDF, or backup data, and to pass such data to the device’s file-saving function, sharing function, external apps, email, cloud storage, and similar services.
Exported files may include highly personal and sensitive information such as health conditions, medication, symptoms, notes, and other contents voluntarily entered by the user.
After a sharing destination has been selected, the handling of information will be governed by the terms of use and privacy policies of the destination app, cloud service, email service, storage location, recipient, or similar service.
Users should carefully confirm the storage location, recipient, and sharing destination of exported files before using such functions.
Users are responsible for managing matters such as erroneous transmission, incorrect sharing destination settings, public visibility settings on cloud services, viewing by third parties, and management of information after sharing.
7. Premium Plan and Purchase Information
The App offers a Free Plan and a Premium Plan.
When the Premium Plan is purchased through the App Store or Google Play, information related to purchases, billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, purchase history, and similar matters is managed in accordance with the terms, policies, and systems of Apple or Google.
We may confirm purchase status, plan status, refund status, and information necessary to prevent unauthorized use to the extent that such information can be confirmed under each store’s specifications.

- Other external apps or external services selected by the user as a sharing destination
The handling of information by these external services or external functions is subject to the terms, privacy policies, and settings of each provider.
The App does not automatically send health records entered by users to our servers.
If functions such as synchronization, cloud backup, account functions, analysis functions, or integration with external services are added in the future, we will explain this in advance on this page or within the App and revise this Policy as necessary.
9. Provision to Third Parties
Except as required by laws and regulations, we will not provide collected personal information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the individual.
However, we may use external services, payment providers, server providers, email services, app stores, and similar services to the extent necessary for providing the App, processing payments, providing support, handling inquiries, sending email, operating our website, and similar purposes.
In such cases, we will handle information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
10. Deletion of Data on the Device and Handling of Information Collected by Us
Health records stored within the App can be deleted using the deletion function in the App.
If the App is deleted from the device, health records and settings stored within the App will, in principle, be deleted from the device. If the device is initialized, health records and settings stored within the App will also, in principle, be deleted.
However, if device or OS backup functions, cloud backup, data migration functions used when changing devices, or similar functions are used, data may remain in or be restored from the backup destination or migration destination. For deletion of data stored in backups or in the cloud, users should check the settings of each device, OS, cloud service, or similar service themselves.
Health records and settings within the App may be lost due to deletion of OS or browser storage, device failure, defects in the App or OS, insufficient storage capacity, unexpected defects during updates, or similar causes.
We do not guarantee restoration of records that have been deleted or lost. Users should save necessary records at their own responsibility by using CSV, PDF, backup functions, device backup functions, or similar means.
If a user wishes to request disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use, or similar handling of information collected by us through inquiries, support handling, purchase status confirmation, or similar processes, the user should contact us through our inquiry desk. After verifying the identity of the requester, we will respond appropriately in accordance with laws and regulations.
11. Device Management
Health records and settings saved in the App may be stored on the user’s device.
Users are responsible for managing device locks, OS updates, security settings, backups, sharing destination apps, and similar matters.
Health records and exported files may be viewed by third parties due to loss or theft of the device, use of the device by a third party, use of a shared device, cloud synchronization settings, external app settings, or similar circumstances.
12. Notes on Inquiries
When reporting defects or requesting support, users should limit the information they send to the extent necessary if screenshots, CSV files, PDF files, backup files, or similar materials contain sensitive information such as health records, medication details, symptoms, or notes.
Where possible, users should hide unnecessary information before sending materials, such as personal names, medical institution names, detailed symptoms, and note fields.
We will review inquiry contents only to the extent necessary for support.
13. Use by Minors, Family Members, and Others
If a minor uses the App, the minor should use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian.
If a family member, caregiver, or other third party enters, manages, exports, or shares health records in the App on behalf of the individual concerned, such actions must be carried out with the consent of that individual.
Health information of a third party may not be entered, saved, exported, or shared without the consent of that individual.
14. Security Management
We will take necessary and appropriate security management measures to prevent leakage, loss, alteration, unauthorized access, and similar incidents concerning information we collect.
However, information stored on the user’s device, information on external apps or cloud services selected by the user as sharing destinations, and information after it has been sent or shared by the user are subject to management by the user and by each external service.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may change the contents of this Policy in response to additions of app functions, commencement of use of external services, compliance with laws and regulations, operational changes, and similar circumstances.
If there are important changes, we will provide notice on our website or within the App.
If the user uses the App after the changes, the user will be deemed to have agreed to the revised contents.
